Server At Ya-Po-Ah Terrace Retirement Apartments
We are looking for a dining server to join our team! Our resident’s look forward to every meal here in the restaurant and you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
Part time (Roughly 27 hours per week)
Morning shift
Monday - Friday
Weekends off
No late nights
Responsibilities:
Provide a high level of guest service ensuring that each guest that comes in to dine with us has a positive and memorable experience
Warmly acknowledge and greets guests as they arrive
Maintain menu knowledge to answer guests’ questions and suggest appropriate food and beverages
Maintain the guest dining experience by checking back, refilling beverages, pre-bussing plates
Working with cash register
Maintain a professional appearance, including proper hygiene and report to work as scheduled
Demonstrate a positive and professional relationship with coworkers and the management team, graciously offer and accept help when needed
Handle guest complaints in a professional manner and notify chef or management of any guest complaint
Keep stations neat and organized, complete side work during non-busy hours
Protect restaurant guests by adhering to sanitation, safety
Wear proper hair restraints and gloves when needed for food safety
Perform some additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the manager at any time
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs via food or beverage trays or required equipment needed to perform specific job duties
Ability to stand and walk for up to 2 hours at a time
Frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, and wipe
