We are looking for knowledgeable Payroll Specialists to process and manage company payroll for our clients. The payroll specialist is able to use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency. The goal is to ensure personnel receives the correct compensation in a timely manner.Job Duties:
Process and manage employee payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
Calculate and verify payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, and deductions.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding payroll and taxation.
Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee information and resolve discrepancies.
Handle inquiries from employees regarding payroll matters.
Maintain payroll records and generate relevant reports as needed.
Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills to interact with employees and colleagues.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Problem-solving skills to address any payroll discrepancies.
