We are now looking for a rock star employee to join our thriving charter school team! High School Instructional Assistants work closely with our Subject Area Specialists to help support student learning. High School Instructional Assistants help with managing distance learning courses, providing student feedback, teaching campus classes two days a week, and student tutoring.
The BCA High School Team is currently looking for a High School Instructional Assistant with the following qualifications:
Strong background and/or interest in Lab Sciences such as Biology and Chemistry.
Experience working with students either through teaching or tutoring.
Experience with or a readiness to learn digital tools such as Canvas.
Desire to work with high school students with individual tutoring and in small classroom settings.
Able to collaborate with a teacher to create lessons, provide student feedback, and support students in their learning.
Work Location/Schedule: BCA campus - located in Lowell, Oregon (In-Person/Remote Hybrid), Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays virtually from 9am-noon and Tuesdays and Wednesdays on campus from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Position begins in August 2024.
