NeighborImpact is seeking a dedicated Executive Specialist to support our Executive Director and Board of Directors in a dynamic and mission-driven environment!

Location: Redmond

Compensation: $29.22/hour (plus $0.50.hr for Spanish Bilingual)

Hours: Regular full-time (40 hours/week)

Benefits: 100% premium paid Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, Agency paid Retirement plan (up to 6%), almost 16 weeks of paid time total accrual during the first five years (increases after that), plus 10 paid Holidays annually and a separate sick leave accrual

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The Executive Specialist directly supports the Executive Director by completing a variety of administrative tasks that promote the growth of NeighborImpact’s programs and the agency as a whole. This position will serve as one of the main points of contact for the NeighborImpact Board of Directors as well as the Community Action Foundation of Central Oregon Board of Directors. The daily responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to, scheduling meetings for the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and committees; overseeing administrative work for conducting meetings such as creating agendas, compiling meeting materials, and recording meeting minutes; and planning meetings, retreats, and select social events.

This position serves as staff support for the Management and Leadership Teams and frequently involves providing support to individual programs to support their administrative needs. This work is of a complex and highly confidential nature, requiring discretion and collaboration with executive-level contacts. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly organized individual who can multi-task, work independently on miscellaneous tasks with little guidance, and communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external contacts.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Combination of education and experience equivalent to BA may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Minimum 50+ wpm keyboard skills.

Proficient in Window-based environment software; must be at intermediate or expert level of Word and have the ability to manipulate data in software applications such as Excel. The ability to learn to use other software is essential.

Ability to be certified in ORCHARDS (Oregon Criminal History and Abuse Records Data System) required

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

This position requires the ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays (holiday time will be flexed) and requires the ability to drive at night. The position may require in- and out of state travel, including overnight and possibly on weekends.

Basic math skills

Prior to date of hire and throughout employment:

Valid driver’s license.

Proof of current auto insurance. Must provide current liability insurance.

Access to reliable transportation required.

Satisfactory criminal background check required
