Caregiver needed for a small level 3 senior adult foster home located in NW Redmond, experienced caregiver or CNA is preferred but willing to train. State of Oregon and adult foster care have specific trainings and qualifications that need to be completed and owner/licensee can help assist this process. But the great thing is once all the requirements are completed, you can work at ANY adult foster home!
Requirements are-
Employment application
Background check and fingerprints
CPR and First aid
Caregiver training workbook fully completed
Classes to be completed on Oregon Care Partners website after creating an account-
Pre-Service dementia care training for direct care staff (6 hours online, self pace)
Home and Community-Based Services and Settings (HCBS) and Individually-Based Limitations (IBL) (1.5 hours self pace)
Your responsibilities include-
Dressing and grooming
Showering and toileting
Medication dispersement
Lifting/using hoyers and sit to stands
Writing small narratives
Cooking meals
Light housekeeping
Companionship and doing activities with residents
End of life care
