Full Time Medical Assistant needed for premier joint replacement clinic of 4 providers.
Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays
Responsibilities:
Duties of the Medical Assistant will include rooming and interviewing patients.
Charting accurate medical data in Epic.
Assisting with minor in office blood draws.
Obtaining authorizations.
Scanning, indexing, preparing surgery packets, assisting with scheduling and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
Phlebotomy experience required.
Experience in an orthopedic surgeon practice is a plus.
Experience with electronic health records (Epic) preferred.
Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently within a team environment.
Must possess a professional and friendly demeanor with our patients, team and our referral sources will guarantee your success.
