We’re fueled by a passion to provide innovative solutions and driven to connect the world in meaningful ways.The Manager Logistics is responsible for managing and overseeing logistics unit in the performance of order placement and tracking, receiving, stocking, selecting, packing, shipping and supplier performance management.Key Roles and Responsibilities: Entrepreneurial approach to the business and operations. Directly supervises logistics personnel in a Union environment. Ability to manage and influence others in a matrix environment who may not directly report to you. Strong teamwork abilities, able to move fluidly through the operation to be able to support all areas of the business. Establishes goals and maintains records to measure productivity, quality, safety, and attendance. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with senior leaders of the organization and cascade message to operational level. Experience with Oracle WMS Systems, Workday, INFOR, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint preferred. Strong analytical skills to take raw data and convert to actionable tasks to drive improvement within your operation. Project Management capabilities to plan, communicate, execute, report/analyze impact, course correct and optimize. Utilizes a variety of mechanized systems to provide balance, accuracy, create efficiencies in report data, track costs and maintain budget analysis. Strong ability to develop report with team in order to select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of functions. Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors, and problem solving. May also coordinate the collection and delivery of company supplies and media. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Influences decisions regarding the hiring, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates. Previous experience working with bargained for employees a plus. Responsible for subordinate’s career planning, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.Education: Preferred 4-year degree from accredited university, or equivalent supervisory experience of 5-10 years in lieu of degree.Experience: Preferred 5 years experience in Logistics with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.Joining our team comes with amazing perks and benefits.
