This is a Mid-Level role that requires a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science and 4+ years of benchwork. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Chemistry with 4 years of bench experience using environmental applications (ICPMS, GCMS, IC/HPLC) and wet chemistry skills. This is a 2nd shift opportunity. This shift is ran Sun to Thursday 3pm to 11:30pm, but will likely work 42 to 46 hours a week.This is a salary position, so you will be paid for 40 hours a week regardless of time worked. Job DescriptionSeeking a skilled Chemist to manage laboratory operations and perform a range of tests primarily on drinking water samples, as well as wastewater. Responsibilities include directing laboratory staff, managing the lab in the manager's absence, backing up for most tests, troubleshooting instruments, maintaining equipment, training analysts, reviewing reports, managing special projects, and providing customer support via telephone. The role also involves conducting performance evaluations and participating in input for these evaluations.Hard Skills
