This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.Job Purpose and ImpactThe 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate the deployment of leading maintenance practices in alignment with production needs. In this role, you will supervise a team which executes a variety of medium complex activities to maintain capacity utilization and quality standards for reliable operations at the Dayton facility.Key Accountabilities
Manage equipment strategies for assets involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding complex production processes
Implement methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards
Collaborate with external contractor partners to support the integration and maintenance of equipment within the facility
Partner with regional and global leadership to support area-leading practices and procedures
Develop operational related budgets to track the facility maintenance progress against estimates
Responsible for personnel decisions relating to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for your direct reports
Other duties as assigned
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Right to work in the United States that is not based solely on the possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third party employer
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum one year of related work experience
Computer literacy including experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience utilizing SAP software
One year of supervisory experience
Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems and components
Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
Knowledge of related tools, processes controls, and area technology systems
Experience coordinating third party resources to deliver business results
