Risk Management Head of Home Lending Servicing - Executive Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of Servicing Risk Management within our Home Lending line of business. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of risk associated with Servicing Operations, along with credit and operational risk oversight of the largest Home Lending Servicing portfolio in the industry. You will lead a team of talented professionals and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks specific to the Home Lending industry.Responsibilities:

Manage a comprehensive risk management framework for the Servicing department within the Home Lending line of business, ensuring adherence with the organization's overall Risk Appetite

Oversee the management of key credit risk strategies (i.e., collections, loss mitigation, line management, delinquent flow programs, etc.), and credit risk guidelines

Chair the Servicing Risk Committee, leading discussions and initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the servicing operations

Serve as a standing member of the Home Lending Risk Committee, providing insights and recommendations on risk management strategies and initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Home Lending line of business to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls specific to the Home Lending industry

Monitor and report on key risk indicators within the Servicing line of business, providing regular updates to senior management and regulatory entities

Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes related to servicing risk management, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Home Lending Servicing, preferably in Risk Management

Strong knowledge of servicing operations and associated risks within the Home Lending industry, notably credit and operational risk

Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of risk professionals

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
