Description POSITION SUMMARY:The Contract and Vendor Management Analyst Lead is responsible for creating and reviewing contract terms and conditions with Contract Negotiators and customers typically less than 500000 in the Company's spend on goods and services. Ensures that all negotiated deals are properly managed through contract execution. Collaborates with others to drive vendor performance and determine what capabilities and product offerings meet the needs of the business. Functions as a subject matter expert for the assigned vendors in their portfolio of products and services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:The essential duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of those required on the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.-Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders e.g. vendors business and aligned platforms-Manages and monitors vendor performance per contract agreements-Develops SLAs and Key Performance Indicators KPIs for inclusion in contract negotiations. Drives continuous improvement in vendor performance against appropriate SLAs and KPIs.-Facilitates meetings between vendors and Company stakeholders e.g. gathering requirements identifying solutions vendor performance-Functions as the point of contact for contract and vendor service issues from business partners and assigned vendors-Administers the vendor feedback process which includes collecting integrating analyzing and communicating information. Makes suggestions for process improvements.-Mentors and coaches others to enhance leadership and vendor management skills-Works with appropriate stakeholders to prepare Requests for Proposals RFPs and Request for Information RFIs for new vendor technologies and assists with vendor selection. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Education and/or experiences listed below are the minimum requirements for job entry-Bachelor's Degree in a business or related discipline e.g. Business Management and a minimum of six years of experience in business sourcing and/or developing and maintaining vendor relationships.-In lieu of a degree a minimum of eight years related work experience in business sourcing and/or developing and maintaining vendor relationships may be accepted.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS/ABILITIES:Knowledge skills/abilities listed below are the requirements needed to be proficient in the job.-Knowledge of business functions and roadmaps best practices and regulatory standards-Ability to align local goals and direction with procurement vision strategy and priorities-Vendor management skills-Advanced analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze data from various sources to determine next steps and choose the best method to display the data.-Negotiation skills and Requirements Customer Service, Communication, Contracts, Presentations, Leadership Skills, Vendors, Negotiation, Productivity, Procurement, Data Analysis, Stakeholders, Integration, Best Practices, KPI Reporting, Process Improvement, Interpersonal Skills, Framework, Sourcing, R Code, Laptop Hardware, Business Partners, Disability Benefits, Service Level Agreements, Vendor Management, Contract Administration Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
