Call Center Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Call Center Specialist in Columbus, Indiana. The selected candidate will play a vital role in our team, providing technical support to our stores and vendors to operate efficiently on our maintenance tools in ServiceNow. The role involves creating service work orders, handling a high volume of inbound calls, and maintaining active communication with all parties involved for effective problem resolution.Responsibilities: Create service work orders for our site’s maintenance issues. Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls from store personnel on maintenance needs. Enter service requests into the database with full and accurate detailed information. Provide troubleshooting and advice on reported technical/functional issues. Provide status updates to Store Personnel and Field Support for all open incidents. Accurately update work orders, re-assign work orders as needed. Make outbound phone calls to dispatch our technicians and vendors, as well as acquiring updates and ETAs on work orders. Maintain active communication with all parties involved (Store management, service companies, maintenance engineers, technicians, etc.) for effective problem resolution. Utilize skills in Call Center Customer Service, Work Orders, Maintenance Requests, and Basic Troubleshooting. Understand customer demands and provide solutions to their problems.Requirements Proficiency in Call Center operations, including managing high volumes of inbound and outbound calls Demonstrated ability in providing top-notch Call Center Customer Service, including handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing appropriate solutions Experience with Work Orders and Maintenance Requests, ensuring they are processed in a timely and efficient manner Basic Troubleshooting skills, particularly in resolving customer issues related to products or services Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service Proficiency in using computer systems and software necessary for call center operations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively Willingness to work in shifts, during weekends, and holidays as required by the operations Ability to work as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet to provide immediate solutions to customer issues High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in relevant fields are a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
