Description We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist based in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for executing various tasks related to medical billing and collections. You will be working on-site and will be an integral part of our team.Responsibilities: Ensuring all activities align with our mission, vision, and values. Handling medical billing and collection practices proficiently. Utilizing Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel, for various tasks. Navigating insurance and reimbursement processes effectively. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public. Conducting other duties as assigned or directed. Demonstrating a strong knowledge of medical billing/collection practices. Ensuring confidentiality and demonstrating the ability to maintain effective patient relationships. Utilizing various systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM, and Epaces. Managing Accounts Receivable (AR), Appeals, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, and Claim Administration. Requirements Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and principles Proven experience in handling Appeals in a healthcare setting Knowledge of Benefit and Billing functions within the medical field Experience in Claim Administration with a focus on efficiency and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction Detail-oriented with a strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals and outcomes Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education in relevant field preferred Prior experience in a similar role in the healthcare industry is advantageousRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
