Provides nursing services to patients, residents, and families in accordance with the scope of the LPN license. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.Qualifications:Required:

Graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing. Currently licensed by the State of Ohio, which includes certification to pass medications. Current American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire. Certified to pass IV medications or will have passed an IV medication course within six months of employment. Ability to manage 14-45 residents at the completion of the orientation period (Long Term Care only).Preferred:

One year experience in an in-patient or long term care setting, as appropriate. Familiarity with rules and regulations associated with in-patient or Long Term Care, as appropriatePhysical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance. Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires some exposure to chemicals.Physical Demands:
