Working within the reference lab of histology department processing and filing complete histology cases.
Will use laboratory techniques to finish work assigned throughout the day.
Following SOP for filing and archiving patient cases which are in for of slides.
They will gather the slides, any wax blocks, etc. put them together.
Entering information into LIS (laboratory information system) to track the case for the patient.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Science
Understanding of basic laboratory procedures
