Thanks to our stringently tested products, friendly sales staff, and dedication to customer service, our loyal customer base continues to grow - because of this growth we are expanding our team and looking for a Shipping Associate to join our Jefferson, Ohio location.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process all sales orders through fax, email, and telephone, including order details such as price confirmation, availability, credits, and warranty claims.

· Verify customer and order information for accuracy, cross-checking it against previously obtained information as necessary.

· Contribute to the team by providing inside sales support, relaying pertinent information to the inside sales representative.

· File purchase orders daily to ensure compliance with company guidelines.

· Maintain operations by adhering to policies and procedures and reporting necessary changes.

· Perform administrative and office duties, such as filing, updating customer information, and contributing to general office functions.

Basic Responsibilities

· This position is part of the warehouse team and will be focused primarily on shipping.

· Load, unload, trailers of product.

· Move boxes by hand or basic material handling equipment including, Forklift, Pallet Jack, Push Carts, etc.

· Weigh products, wrap goods and pack and unpack products.

· Process incoming requisitions which include, picking, checking and packing orders.

· Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents.

· Maintain and organize inventory.

· Use inventory control system to locate information, search orders or investigate discrepancies.

· Maintain organized, safe and efficient warehouse environment.

· Other general warehouse duty as required.

Skills and Qualifications

· Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products between 50 to 100 lbs.

· Ability to operate industrial lift trucks, pallet jack, and forklifts.

· Good communication skills (verbal and written).

· Detail oriented.

· Significant use of memory.

· Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system.

· Team player with a positive attitude.

· Strong problem-solving skills.
