Basic Responsibilities
This position is part of the warehouse team and will be focused primarily on shipping.
Load, unload, trailers of product.
Move boxes by hand or basic material handling equipment.
Forklift
Pallet Jack
Push Carts
Weigh products, wrap goods and pack and unpack products.
Process incoming requisitions which include, picking, checking and packing orders.
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents.
Maintain and organize inventory.
Use inventory control system to locate information, search orders or investigate discrepancies.
Maintain organized, safe and efficient warehouse environment.
Other general warehouse duty as required.
Skills & Qualities
Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products between 50 to 100 lbs.
Ability to operate industrial lift trucks, pallet jack, and forklifts.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Detail oriented.
Significant use of memory.
Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Requirements
One year of related experience and asset but not required as we will train.
High school Diploma an asset but not essential.
Steel-toed safety boots.
