Evening Pastry Chef
If you are passionate, experienced, knowledgeable, creative, and ambitious about pastry and fine plated desserts, consider The Blue Door Café's dinner service.
To be successful in this position you must have previous experience working as a pastry chef in a professional setting, have attended formal school for pastry and baking, or at the minimum have aspirations of making pastry a career - and have pursued these passions in a professional bakery.
You will be working in close conjunction with talented, accomplished and like minded chefs to create and orchestrate an ever changing menu of desserts for an exciting and growing evening dinner service. You will also assist the existing Blue Door bakery team in the execution of their duties.
You will be able to utilize a recently renovated and state of the art kitchen and be part of a fun and satisfying time of growth at the restaurant - which will include further dining room and kitchen improvements.
Your schedule will be five days each week. Wednesday for prep and Thursday through Sunday for actual dinner service - which begins at 5pm.
