The Administrative Assistant role supports team development and integrity by adding value to the EMS Education Program, increasing positive student experiences and providing high quality administrative support.A caregiver in this position works 16-24 hours per week. This role has a very flexible schedule.A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform a variety of duties to support administration.
Compose, type and transcribe correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications.
Receive and screen visitors and telephone calls.
Handle general inquiries.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements.
Maintain assigned calendars.
Establish and maintain filing systems.
Order and stock supplies.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High school diploma or GED.
Three years of secretarial experience.
Ability to type 45 WPM.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Associate's degree. This may substitute one year of the required experience.
Has experience or certification with the EMS field.
