Quality Assurance Measurement Technician

First Shift Position - Quality Assurance Measurement TechnicianResponsible for Receiving Inspection, First Article and In-process Inspection.  Serves as a back up for QA Inspector and Repair/Refurbishment technician. Other duties as assigned by management team.Job Expectations:Safety & 5S Housekeeping:Associate constantly demonstrates safety awareness by following safety protocols   Keeps work area neat and clean according to established 5S standardsWears designated PPE and reports unsafe acts and/or conditions Quality & Customer Focus:Associate consistently achieves and occasionally exceed quality goals that support customer requirementsWork satisfies quality requirements of positionAssociate’s work is neat and accurateJob Knowledge & Productivity:Interpret blueprint and layout drawings identifying unilateral, bilateral tolerances and critical characteristics.Possesses math skills and mechanical aptitude to perform job responsibilities.Ability to select proper gage to measure dimensions.Fully proficient in the care and use of hand gauges.Fully conversant with CMM dimensional elements and has the ability load, unload fixtures etc. and call up assigned programs.Conducts and records results of eLPC’sConsistently achieves and occasional exceeds daily productivity goals that support customer delivery targetsQuantity of work and efficiency meets job requirements.  Good use of time.May be required to share job knowledge with Rexroth Trainees and/or Temp employeesTeamwork & Communication:Understands and embraces (CIP) process improvement conceptsActively participates and positively contributes in team meetingsEffectively works with others to overcome obstacles and accomplish operational goalsAttendance: Associate arrives to work area and is prepared to work at start of shiftMaintains good attendance, supported by the absence of warning notices
