We are looking for a part-time home office manager to help run a small real estate portfolio as well as personal finances. The candidate must be organized, proactive, be a good communicator and be able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. This job requires in-person presence and we are located in Hampstead NC.
Responsibilities
- Basic bookkeeping into accounting system accurately for real estate transactions
- Coordinate periodical paperwork related to real estate such as lease preparation, paperwork for subsidized apartments that require collaboration with program sponsors
- Stay on top of payments and bank reconciliations and ongoing paperwork
- Assist with home office and stay on top of personal finances
- Periodically communicate with contractors, vendors and tenants
Requirements
- Good understanding of accounting and experience with QuickBooks
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
What we offer
- Compensation: $25 hr
- Employment type: part-time, once a week for total of 20 hours a month
