Cost Analyst (Level DOE) Last Updated Date: Feb 12, 2024 Location: Statesville, NC, US, 28625 Company: Doosan Bobcat NA US Job InformationThe Cost Analyst role works to ensure that accurate costs are maintained for the use in inventory valuation for products manufactured through Doosan Bobcat’s manufacturing facilities. You will also provide financial analysis relative to productivity improvements, factory spending, manufacturing variances, standard costs, and inventory management. In addition, you will assist in planning and coordinating the physical inventory and planning and creation of the yearly standards update process.Role & Responsibility
Provide financial analysis relative to productivity improvements, factory spending, manufacturing variances, standard costs and inventory management.
Assist in the planning and coordination of the physical inventory.
Effectively work with internal and external auditors.
Actively participate on cross-functional teams.
Develop material standards and provide monthly analysis of purchasing variances.
Analyze ECNs for impact on product costs, margins, and plant efficiencies.
Assist in planning and creation of the yearly standards update process.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related major with an Accounting or Finance minor. Any Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ year of cost experience will be considered.
2 to 5 years' experience preferred in financial or cost accounting.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of Oracle or SAP a plus.
Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Microsoft Office Suite competency, including strong Excel skills.
Ability to adjust work assignments or schedules for self to meet changing work priorities.
Travel Standard: < 10%.
