OverviewThe Manager, Business Insights and Analytics serves as a leader and internal consultant to Novant Health leadership and staff on large complex system, market, unit/institute level initiatives. The Manager partners closely with Senior and Executive Leaders to develop and advance the organizational rigor necessary to achieve top performance. Through the development, execution and maintenance of comprehensive business insights and analytic platforms, the Manager provides partnership, direction and facilitation to leaders and teams in growth and revenue opportunities, value optimization and efficiency opportunities, and execution of high priority initiatives through advanced insights and analytics. The Manager is expected to pursue her/his/their work with a high level of energy and steadfastly push self and others for results while supporting the organization in education, application of tools, methods, data collection, analysis, project facilitation, project management, mentoring and coaching consultants, and general leadership development in areas related to change management. Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Prefer that the degree is in data analytics or strong relevant technical experience.

Experience: Minimum five years in analytics, consulting, or leadership role. Significant experience managing teams/projects with significant complexity with a high degree of autonomy, required.

Delivers added value to organization through knowledge, ideas and solutions for the business insights and analytics approach.

Owns and leads development and execution of assigned components of Internal Consulting Group annual and ongoing organizational assessment process.

Works across the enterprise to clearly define data definitions, standards and understanding for consistency in data reporting.

Recommends insights and actions for growth and efficiency as an objective party.

Effectively partners with leaders to effectively develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of performance dashboards.

Proactively manages and supports senior leadership to identify, understand and capitalize on new growth and efficiency opportunities across the enterprise.

Quickly and concisely summarizes results of analyses, assessments, group processes, etc. clearly in written and graphical presentation.

Comfortably delivers summary of analyses, assessment, group processes, etc. through presentation materials and public speaking to leaders and teams at all levels of the organization.

Reduces large amounts of data and information to tell a story, simplifies understanding for others, and identifies most critical information, while resisting urge for complete data to support decision making.

Performs layers of quantitative and qualitative analysis to reveal previously hidden insights.

Comfortable working with large datasets in Microsoft Excel and other analytics tools as required.

Provides leadership for Internal Consulting Group analytics function, including supervision and mentoring of analytics team members assigned to support body of work

Is comfortable working with senior leaders in the organization in a consulting role vs. as "order taker"

Embraces teambuilding and possesses interpersonal relationship skills
