Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
Provides clean, sparkling dishes and silverware.
Cleans the inside of the restaurant to provide a pleasant, safe environment for guests and team members.
Cleans around the outside of the building and the parking lot.
Empties trash into the dumpster and keeps the dumpster, trash cans, and back dock area clean.
Stocks prep areas with appropriate smallwares. Stocks server areas with appropriate glasses and silverware.
Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including dish machines, sinks, tables, and shelves.
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager, General Manager, or Manager on Duty.
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness.
Qualifications:
Minimum six months experience in a restaurant dish room.
Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room team members.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.
