OverviewKimley-Horn is looking for a Communications Writer & Social Media Intern to join the Communications team in our Raleigh, North Carolina (NC) office.ResponsibilitiesThe Communications Writer & Social Media Intern will gain experience ininternaland externalcommunications and social media.The ideal candidate will betalented and driven,playinga vital role in creating engaging content for various audiences. This position requires a combination of excellent communication and writing skills, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
Develop and create compelling content for internal and external audiences, across multiple platforms.
Use your writing skills to showcase employee success stories and promote the Kimley-Horn culture through captivating storytelling.
Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to gather information and ensure accuracy and consistency in the content produced.
Edit and proo materials to maintain high standards of grammar, format, style, and accuracy.
Support other activities within the communications department as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to various projects.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, and style.
Proficiency in utilizing various social media platforms for content creation and dissemination.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
