Description Our client is a growing company with a high-volume AP group, dedicated to providing quality services to their clients. They are now searching for an outstanding Accounts Payable Manager to join their vibrant team and take the lead in managing the staff.Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the AP department and supervising all AP transactions. You will work closely with the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, reconciling invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor the AP department staff.
Process and review accounts payable transactions.
Oversee monthly closings, maintaining accurate ledgers.
Enforce AP policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Develop monthly financial reports related to AP.
Streamline, automate & instigate systems improvements in the AP process.
Handle escalated vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
Train new team members and cultivate a positive working environment.

A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or a relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 in a management role.
Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
Exceptional communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
