Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Greensboro, North Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial information, conducting quantitative analyses affecting investment programs, and communicating financial information for clients. Responsibilities: Assemble spreadsheets and create charts and graphs to illustrate technical reports. Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions that are used in making investment decisions. Interpret data affecting investment programs such as price, yield stability, and future trends in investment risks. Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively share information and critical thinking to solve problems. Work independently and manage your time effectively. Analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. Understand and apply knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data. Familiarize yourself with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations as related to accounting. Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software. Apply your knowledge of accounting principles to various accounting functions. Requirements Must have strong communication and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint Capable of performing ad hoc financial and quantitative analysis Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to analyze financial statements Ability to interpret complex financial language and regulations Proficient in using various computer programs and creating spreadsheets Experience in handling expense reporting and other accounting functions Understanding of financial markets and investment decisions Ability to anticipate future trends in financial markets Experience with pricing strategies and company policy Must have critical thinking skills Familiarity with different chart and graph formats Knowledge of "About Time" software is a plus Ability to adhere to and implement company procedures.
