Job Description:

  • Job Description
Role will support the Bankruptcy Operations Department. Mitigate loss and legal risk to the company and to investors by accurately managing the bankruptcy processes and obtaining relief from bankruptcy on non-performing loans. Communicates with attorneys, court appointed trustees and borrowers to answer questions related to the bankruptcy file. Handles routine or complex levels of transactions with oversight by senior staff and managers to complete daily tasks. Pipeline management will be required of work queues to ensure investor and internal service level agreements are met; in addition to meeting accuracy standards.

Required Skills: 3+ years of Bankruptcy experienceStrong understanding of Bankruptcy LawAbility to work independently and demonstrate solid reasoning skills and good judgment to ensure appropriate outcomes.

Bankruptcy knowledge, strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize and delegate while delivering results, ability to take ownership and independently research and resolve sometimes complex issues accurately and timely, strong communication skills (including verbal and written)strong analytical skills, strong attention to detail, active listening skills, proficiency in computer skills and professional programs (e.g. Microsoft Outlook/Excel)Desired Skills: · Experience working in a Bankruptcy Servicing environment· Solid mathematical, problem solving and analytical skills· Familiar with MSP, BAPS, LCI-CADET, IALS, Debt Manager and LoanSphere
