Position Overview The Data Entry Specialist is responsible to ensure completed aircraft documents are properly audited for sign offs and documentation according to HAECO and Customer requirements, data entry is accurately entered in HAECO computer data base system and the customer data base system. In addition to maintaining the accuracy of HAECO and customer tallies, accounting for all paperwork prior to aircraft departure and issuing /logging any controlled documents to maintenance. The Data Entry Specialist must also provide accurate accountability and visibility to HAECO management and Customers. The Data Entry Specialist is also responsible to work within budgeted time and meet HAECO, FAA, and Customer standards of quality.

Prepares Production Booth for new aircraft arrivals to include sufficient supply of non-routine backers for Mobile Majic printers and other various duties depending on the Customer.

Ensures accurate set up of Mobile Majic Visit Information screen to include default printer, form type, check type, ETOPS and alert notifications upon aircraft arrival.

Ensures all non-routines are manually entered into Majic or successfully transferred from Mobile Majic with appropriate Work Break Down codes by running break in sequence report.

Ensures all non-routines are successfully printed then scanned from the Mobile Majic system on a daily basis.

Monitors Mobile Majic hand held devices each shift to ensure none exceed 8 hours.

Ensures all completed operations and attached forms are thoroughly audited for proper sign off’s and documentation according to Customer and HAECO requirements.

Updates status to tallied, enters corrective action and attachments for all completed operations into the HAECO MAJIC system.

Ensures all audited / completed operations are signed off as complete in the HAECO and Customer Routine and Non-Routine tallies.

Ensures Turnover’s are read, followed up on and given daily to include any vital information for the oncoming shifts including arrival and departures of aircraft.

Ensures all 60000 operations for RFTS’s are tallied and corrective action entered into MAJIC.

Ensures Final RFTS report is reviewed and inserted into HAECO tally book prior to a/c departure.

Performs audits on a regular basis to ensure tally books (Customer and HAECO) and Majic are accurate with each other to reflect operations status.

Perform required audits to ensure Customer’s database system is accurate with Majic and tally books.

Properly documents all paperwork rejects according to HAECO procedures.

Performs paperwork accountability audits in a timely manner throughout the aircraft visit and just prior to aircraft departure to ensure timely aircraft delivery back to customer.

Provides accurate project status reports to management as requested.

Ensures tally books are closed out accurately and efficiently upon aircraft departure then routed to the Records Department.

Reviews printed and total card count in Mobile Majic, updates visit status to Return to Service and locks aircraft visit just prior to aircrafts departure.

Interfaces with Maintenance, Inspection and Aircraft Records prior to an aircraft departure to assure accounting of all paperwork.

Works closely with Aircraft Maintenance, Quality Control, Planning, Records and customer personnel to ensure the timely completion of a project.

Accountability to conduct themselves within all guidelines of company, FAA, and customer policies, work rules, and regulations (ex. Repair Station Manual (RSM), Quality Control Manual (QCM), Airworthiness Agreements), etc.

Promotes a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the HAECO Safety Manual.

What you need: (Requirements)

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people.

Basic computer background required.

Ability to multi task throughout the day.

Self-starter requiring minimum supervision.

Read, write and understand the English language.

Must be able to type minimum 35 words per minute error free.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Subject to noises in excess of 85 dB

Normal or corrected vision and hearing

Legible handwriting

Normal office environment where approximately eighty (80) percent of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the office/hanger area.

Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to climb steps and capable of lifting 30 pounds.

Normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination for keyboard operations.

Preferred :

Three (3) years large commercial aircraft related experience.

Familiarity with aircraft documents and terminology.

Normal office environment where approximately eighty (80) percent of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the office/hanger area.

Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to climb steps and capable of lifting 30 pounds.

Normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination for keyboard operations.
