In our search for top talent, we are looking for those that will further enable us to deliver on our vision and fully support our values-driven culture.Currently, we are looking for a Student Worker, Customer Service to join the ArcBest team. The Student Worker, Customer Service manages a variety of shipments and addresses customer concerns. This position requires superior customer service skills as well as the efficient utilization of resources including effective customer, service center, and field communication to make decisions that resolve urgent transportation-related scenarios.Your contribution may include:

Provide accurate information regarding multiple services and solutions offered by ArcBest.

Handle a large volume of interactions through multiple channels including phone, email, and chat.

Provide tracking updates and communicate delivery notifications.

Maintain effective lines of communication with internal and external customers.

Use multiple systems and programs in support of customer needs and expectations.

Identify customer requirements to generate quotes tailored to their shipping needs.

Schedule pickup requests and submit rate corrections.

Create bills of lading (BOL's) and provide shipment-specific documentation.

Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As a Student Worker, Customer Service, you will be a member of the ArcBest Customer Solutions team. This is a part-time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 6:00 am - 8:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload and school schedule.Ready to apply?
