Integrate global category strategies with program deliverables.
Prepare and process requests for quotations (RFQs), requisitions, and purchase orders.
Locate suppliers for materials and components.
Perform quantitative supplier selection for new products.
Determine inventory stocking and logistics strategies for suppliers with long lead times.
Develop regional and alternate qualified sources to ensure a resilient supply chain.
Hold suppliers accountable for deadlines and deliverables.
Skills:
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
Experience with gated management approval process for new product development.
Knowledge of project management principles.
Working knowledge of MRP and bills of material.
Highly energetic and success-driven.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with persuasive abilities.
