Job Description Our Healthcare Technology client is in search of a SQL Programmer. Responsible for designing, writing, and documenting programs to extract, clean, analyze, and prepare results to support internal members, and other external clients- Assists research scientists in developing and implementing research studies and database extracts using various data sources, such as the internal Analytics database.
- Provides the quality assurance review of the data and deliveries (tables, data, and reports).
- This position may also take on additional projects outside their regular duties, including statistical modeling and validation, as appropriate.
- A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) required. Area of study in IT, health care, Statistics/biostatistics, or business.
- 5 years related experience.
- Programming in healthcare-related environment with experience analyzing large databases.
- Use of SAS, SQL, R, and Excel required.
- Competent with statistical analyses.
- Master's preferred.
- Healthcare research/analytics experience preferred.
- Expert level SAS coding experience preferred.
- Competence with statistical analyses, with experience in statistical modeling (eg, logistic and linear regression) is desirable.
