This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.Responsible for leading a team of business analysts who support business analytics and decision-making processes, including business, technology, and process improvements. The Director is an active participant and plays a significant leadership role in implementing strategic priorities at the business unit level while contributing to overall enterprise data strategy and governance. Provides domain expertise on all matters of business analytical or operational data needs. Works closely with enterprise and business process owners to integrate data analytics into business processes to improve business performance. The leader supports critical initiatives and fulfills business plans to ensure department success.The OpportunityWhat you'll do:

Partner with the business and Information Technology to meet the needs for business data, reporting, analytics, advanced automation, and complex projects.

Develop risk data, analytics and automation strategies and execution roadmaps.

Co-ordinate with multiple Risk data & analytics leaders to plan and drive large program execution.

Assess and measure program value and monitor, and report risks on program execution.

Routinely communicate program outcomes to executive leadership, business process owners and various levels of leadership and influences decision making.

Develop partnerships across the enterprise to support the identification, assessment, aggregation and the overall management of Risk data and analytics initiatives.

Internally socialize findings and recommendations and routinely communicate results of risk assessments and influence decision making.

Apply expert knowledge to use or produce analytical material for discussions with cross functional teams to understand business objectives and influence solution strategies.

Conduct leadership sessions and workshops on strategy formulation, requirements gathering and consensus building.

Serve as the point of contact for senior risk leadership on projects and special management requests that often impact the group’s core operating area.

Evaluate results, and frames contingency plans in partnership with key business partners.

Craft key communications to be delivered to executives and board members.

Act as a strategic partner and domain expert in consulting and advising business partners on ad-hoc or undefined matters related to business analytics and decision support solutions.

Identify and pursue opportunities to use advanced data delivery and business solutions techniques to optimize their contribution to resolving business issues.

Ensure teams maintain understanding of business processes, supporting data and applications and strategic direction.

Foster proactive communication between business/enterprise processes and analytics team to improve delivery, value and integration of analytics into business/enterprise processes.

Build and oversee a team of employees for assigned functional area through ongoing execution of recruiting, development, retention, coaching and support, performance management, and managerial activities.

What you have:

Bachelor’s Degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

8 years of directly related experience in data analysis/extraction, statistics, data management, analytics and/or data reporting.

3 years of direct team lead or management experience.

Advanced knowledge of data manipulation, data reporting/analysis tools and techniques.

Advanced knowledge of identifying, documenting and analyzing business and/or data requirements.

Comprehensive understanding of compliance, risk management, and data security frameworks.

Experience gathering requirements and delivering reports for presentation to Sr. Leadership, Board of Directors, Committees, etc.

Experience in creating automated reports and interactive visualizations using tools such as Python and Tableau.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint

What sets you apart:

Demonstrated strong data and analytics strategy and program management experience

Demonstrated strong program management experience working for Big 4 / Tier 1 consulting firms

Experience and working knowledge of process improvement through advanced automation NLP, NLG, Generative AI

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, consensus builder, problem solver, self-driven, ability to work effectively with senior executives.

US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner [optional]

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
