Payroll Systems Consultant

Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Payroll Systems Consultant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role primarily involves implementing and customizing Workday payroll functions, conducting internal audits, and assisting with the transition of service agreements. You will be part of a dynamic team in the telecom industry, where your analytical skills will be pivotal in reconciling and validating between systems.Responsibilities: Implement and customize Workday payroll functions to meet organizational needs Conduct thorough internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy Assist in the transition of service agreements, ensuring smooth operational changes Test processes and setups to verify accuracy, specifically for payroll taxes Utilize your strong payroll background to identify what needs to be tested Employ your data analytical skills for cross-referencing and validating between systems Handle time and absence tracking in Workday Process payroll for a large number of employees, primarily based in the US Utilize your knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Compliance, Workday, Workday Payroll, Time and attendance, Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Payroll Taxes, Microsoft Excel to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements Proficiency in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Demonstrated experience in Compliance Proficiency in Workday and Workday Payroll Experience with Time and Attendance systems Certification as a Payroll Professional (CPP) Knowledge of Payroll Taxes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to provide consultancy on payroll systems Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with high accuracy in work Ability to handle confidential information discreetly Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
