​This job is a member of the Quality, CASS & Training Team within the Integrated Operations Division.

​Responsible for coaching multi-discipline teams and individuals on lean six sigma principles to drive improvement across the organization.

What you'll do

​Leads the development and execution of process improvements utilizing lean six sigma methodologies to drive Operational Excellence

Manages multiple projects, provide status updates on performance against plan and meet delivery target

Develops customer requirements, business processes, and key performance indicators that improve products and services

Engages in strategic efforts for the organization and contribute feedback on the methods to achieve it

Works collaboratively with operational leadership and represented work groups to develop and implement sustainable solutions

Leads cross functional teams in improvement activities that focus on Maintenance Operations, Quality Management, and Material Supply

All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

​Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt certification

5 years engineering and/or technical operations experience

3 years of leadership experience

2 years of change management experience

Experience in delivering business values that resulted in cost reduction or avoidance

Experience in leading cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

​Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering

LSS Master Black Belt

10 years of experience in LSS within commercial aviation

Thorough understanding of AA Policies and Procedures

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

​Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products to include, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Demonstrated ability to manage major projects on schedule

Demonstrated skills in employee development

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

Skills in stastical analysis and computer background

Excellent analytical, communication, planning, interpersonal and organizational skills
