Description:
supporting environmental or geotechnical investigations, environmental sampling including groundwater, surface water and soils, and other field-related activities
Perform routine progress checks and inspections on landfill and/or industrial construction sites following project specifications and plans
General construction observation and documentation
Field monitoring, testing, and sampling of soil and aggregate materials
Interpreting construction documents (construction drawings, technical specifications, and CQA Plans) to confirm projects are completed in accordance with approved plans
Maintaining quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurement and documentatio
conduct CQA observation, monitoring, and testing services for civil construction projects and earthen and geosynthetic containment systems at energy, industrial, municipal, and mining sites
Monitor performance and policy adherence through consistent communication with company personnel and management
Travel will be mostly within the Carolinas with Per Diem included
Qualifications :
Minimum two (2) years of experience in testing & Inspecting
Working knowledge of basic construction materials and methods
Ability to understand construction plans, details, and specifications
Ability to read and interpret project specifications and plans related primarily to earthworks, geosynthetics, and drainage structures (with guidance
Clean driver's record
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
