BigData Engineer with AWS Cloud - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Cary, NC Job Title: BigData Engineer with AWS Cloud - Remote / Telecommute Job Location: Cary, NC Job Type: Contract Job Description:- Hadoop implementation experience with cloudera and public cloud like AWS EMR.
- Extensive knowledge on big data concepts, Hadoop, hive, presto ,spark, knox and apache ranger.
- Expertise with AWS – EMR,s3,RDS,Athena,Glue, EKS ,AWS sagemaker and lambda.
- Good knowledge on ETL and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Hadoop performance optimization features.
- Expertise with Hadoop upgrades and deploying new Hadoop components.
- Experience with cloudformation templates to automate cluster launch and familiarity with infrastructure as code.
- Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with capacity planning and disaster recovery.
- Expertise in k8s,helm,yaml and gitops.
