A successful property management company is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for an apartment community in Asheville, NC.
The Maintenance Supervisor performs various duties to maintain quality maintenance necessary improvements to enhance the apartment community.
Job Functions
Under the director of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will perform supervisory duties such as hiring, training and managing the maintenance staff.
Reports maintenance repairs and any issues with vacant apartments and/or apartment community grounds
Schedules move ins and inspections
Monitors and manages vendors and contracts
Proposes recommendations for improvements for the community
Skills
High School diploma
4 years of industry related experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC)
Supervisory experience required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be CPO and HVAC certified. Must submit to a criminal background check.
