Kennel Technician
Small training kennel facility seeking caring, responsible Kennel Technician to feed, walk, and care for dogs. Dogs of all ages and sizes, including small puppies and XXL dogs. Must be willing to learn how to following cleaning, feeding, care, and reporting instructions. Training provided including Pet First Aid certification, Animal Behavior, Bathing, Nail Trimming, and Grooming.
Full Time and Part Time
Weekend, evening and holiday shifts required.
Qualificaitons:
Reliable attendance
Record data on computer
Report dog illness to supervisor
Maintain a safe work environment
Dog handing experience required
Job Duties:
Feed
Walk
Sweep and mop
Wash and fold laundry
Clean crates
Bath and Groom Dogs
General cleaning
Physical Skills:
bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, holding large/strong dogs, lifting up to 50 lbs
Salary:
15.00 to 18.00 per hour
As you show reliability and independence you will continue to receive regular $1/hr raises in your 1st year!
