Description We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a medical office and a thorough understanding of appointment scheduling. This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, top-notch organizing abilities, and proficiency in office software. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, Responsibilities: Managing all forms of clinic's communication, including answering and directing phone calls, email messages, and regular mail Providing information to patients regarding clinic services, procedures, and payment options Updating and keeping track of all professional contact information for the clinic Creating and maintaining digital files (Using MS Word/Excel extensively) Scanning and filing documentation in the EMR system Checking and confirming medical insurance eligibility for patients Scheduling and confirming patient and staff appointments Handling all billing related activities including posting to ledger and managing superbills for our community members Requesting and filing insurance referrals for our community patients in the EMR system Tracking and recording completed reports/superbills Providing a warm welcome to patients upon their arrival Ensuring clinic and staff offices are well-stocked at all times Working closely with program liaisons, collecting correspondence, and filing in EMR Prooing patient reports and facilitating their distribution via email Ensuring strict adherence to Health and Information Privacy Protection Act (HPPA) guidelines and requirementsRequirements Qualifications: Prior experience as an Office Manager in a medical setting required Familiarity with medical appointment scheduling Extensive knowledge of MS Word/Excel Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Compulink Advantage Software Excellent communication and organizational skills Knowledge of HPPA guidelinesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
