Job SummaryHomeSpace Technologies, LLC is seeking a skilled, motivated and detail-oriented Pool Technician specializing in Pool Covers to support our operations. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of pool covers for residential and commercial clients. The Pool Technician will play a key role in ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetics of pool systems, while working collaboratively to deliver high-quality service. You will report to the Lead Technician on all matters.We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where all team members can thrive and grow.Key Responsibilities· Install, inspect, repair, and maintain various pool cover systems, including safety, solar, and automatic covers.· Measure and assess pool dimensions for accurate pool cover customization.· Diagnose and repair issues with pool covers, including replacing components, fixing tears, and adjusting mechanisms.· Perform routine maintenance to extend the lifespan of pool covers, such as cleaning, lubricating, and applying protective treatments.· Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining product features, and offering guidance on proper usage and maintenance.· Keep detailed records of service calls, maintenance tasks, and customer interactions.· Assist with transportation, preparation, and organization of tools, equipment, and materials for job sites.· Observe and follow safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a secure work environment.· Stay informed on industry trends, new products, and advancements in pool cover technology.· Other duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and purpose of this role.QualificationsEducation: · High school diploma or equivalent required.· Pool cover certifications are preferred. Experience: · Proficient knowledge of tools and equipment.· Ability to lift and perform physical labor.· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.· Customer-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Previous experience pool service is a plus but not required.· Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various environments and weather conditions.Preferred Qualifications:· Previous experience in automatic pool cover installation, repair, or maintenance preferred.· Background in the pool industry or related technical/construction sector.· Personal power tools and hand tools are preferred.
