Duties
Prepare and cook pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards.
Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and slicers, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working condition.
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment to management.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines as outlined by health authorities.
Experience
Previous experience as a cook in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
Familiarity with culinary techniques, particularly in pizza preparation.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong knife skills and experience with meal preparation are essential.
