Responsibilities:
-Assist the head chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
-Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
-Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
-Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
-Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
-Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Sous Chef or experienced line cook in a high-volume kitchen environment.
-Strong culinary skills and a passion for food innovation and creativity.
-Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
-Availability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
-Reliable transportation to and from work.
-Food Safe certification preferred.
