Description Hannah Savage with Robert Half is in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join her client's team in Rochester, New York. As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all HR functions within the company. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth HR operations, including onboarding, benefits enrollment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. Your goal will be to create a positive work environment that supports the employees' professional growth and well-being.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full cycle of recruitment and onboarding processes
Manage benefits enrollment and administration
Handle employee relations issues, ensuring effective conflict resolution
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
Conduct performance management and provide support to managers
Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
Coordinate training and development programs
Assist in payroll processing and related HR functions

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
At least 5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role

Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
Thorough knowledge of labor laws and regulations
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
