The Patient Mobility Specialist under the direction of a registered nurse facilitates patient mobility and ambulation by (1) walking patients (2) transferring patients bed to chair (3) repositioning patients (4) performing range of motion. The Mobility Specialist utilizes patient handling equipment, transfer devices, and protective equipment in accordance with guidelines and vendor specification. Current med/surg experience. Demonstrates problem solving and good communication skills.
