This is a full-time position offering:

Essential Responsibilities:
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe system, plumbing, machinery, or equipment
Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work
Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand and power tools, and reassemble equipment
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms
Paint or repair windows, doors, floors. Woodwork, plaster, or other parts of building structures
Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other wooden structures
Perform general maintenance of buildings or properties
The ideal candidate will have:
1+ year of experience in facility maintenance or commercial cleaning
Preferred experience in painting, plastering, drywall, tiling, electrical, plumbing, carpentry
Ability to organize, prioritize, take initiative and problem solve ongoing lists of maintenance projects
Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
Must have or obtain FDNY S95, G60, F01, and F60 Certificates of Fitness
Full-time availability is a must!
