Atelier Chroma is in search of a restoration craftsperson.
Successful candidates will have a minimum 1 year of full time experience working as a professional painter in residential or commercial sectors. Experience in restoring wood and metal surfaces, plaster repairs and extensive knowledge of paint products is required. Ability to use paint sprayers also an asset. Painters must be punctual, clean, fast and efficient and deliver top quality results on every job.
Main functions involve artisanal methods for stripping and repairing antique wood work. You must be able prepare surfaces to be painted while taking care to protect the clients property. This includes restoring wood and metal surfaces, making repairs to walls and mouldings with plaster and latex caulking, preparing interior and exterior surfaces to be painted, selecting and applying the appropriate primers, and applying top coats and paint in a clean and professional manner.
Must have SSN, ITIN or EIN and be able to communicate in english
