The CHS Group is a 40-year-old company that has been a steadfast in the Contract & Hospitality renovation and interior construction arena. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Project Managers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities are as follows:
Manage all phases of the construction project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and specifications.
Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project completion.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
Conduct daily reviews to ensure work is being carried out according to project specifications and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
Manage project budgets and finances, tracking expenses and making adjustments as necessary to ensure profitability.
Requirements:
Experience in construction management, engineering, or a related hands-on field is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage project teams effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Microsoft Project.
Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
