Optical/Lab Position
compensation: $20 hr

We are an independently owned and operated optical boutique with 20 years of history. We are a full service optical store with a digital optometrics doctor setup and an in house finishing lab.
Candidates interested in Optician roles have duties that include:
-Taking proper measurements such as PD and height.
- Adjust/fit eyewear to patients
- Select the proper fit for eyewear given a patient’s prescription and optical measurements
- Simple repairs such as replacing eyewear screws and nosepads
- Selecting the proper lenses when considering a patient’s prescription and frame fit
- Resolving optical issues for our patients and walk in customers
Coburn Edger and tracer:
- Edging and installing prescription lenses into frames
- Cleaning and maintaining edger/lab equipment
- Repairs such as replacing screws/nose pads when necessary
