Family owned and operated independent dealership located in Elmont New York is seeking an Inventory Manager.
As Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the organization and appearance of our dealership’s vehicle inventory and lot.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Organize the vehicles on the lot, making sure they are presentable and ready for sale.
Coordinate cleaning and detailing vehicles as needed with carwash and detail center.
Check in all vehicles using a predefined checklist (oil, brakes, tires, etc.)
Coordinate vehicle deliveries and pickups.
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good condition.
Support sales staff by preparing vehicles for test drives and customer appointments.
Assist with inventory management, including tracking vehicle locations and status.
Help maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot.
General maintenance tasks such as changing wipers, topping off fluids, paint and cleaning touch ups, etc.
Requirements:
Must be a “car guy” with an interest in cars and working with cars.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
